This Challenge was hard to do. We had a 'Culture Evening', where we all took a country & dressed up. We had to bring in food from that country and try everybody's, We also had an activity day at Haverings.
If you look in the Archives there are a couple of pics which Brown Owl took when we did the challenges.
In 2002, we all had one of these badges to celebrate the Queens Golden jubilee!
In 2004 'Brownie Guides' were 90 years old!
All packs celebrated in lots of different ways.
Our pack took part in the Anglia challenge and all the girls got the badge on the left.
The badge on the right was a badge that all Brownies were given to celebrate'their' birthday!
We took part in the Anglia Challenge and had lots of fun.
Once we had completed it we all had this badge.
In 2004 this badge was designed to celebrate our new dormitory being completed and the facilities at Haverings improved.
We completed this badge Autumn '07
There are over 50 badges to choose from.
Some of them are quite easy especially if that is your hobby!
Others are difficult to do on your own, so maybe a few brownies could work with you?
We sometimes do badges as a pack, all the brownies, who complete all the parts of the badge, will get the badge!
These are really old interest badges.
They didn't change much from the very
start of brownies. if you look closely,
you can see 'Girl Guides' on them.
These are the old brownie badges which were around in 1995.
If you closely, you can see they have 'Brownie Guides' on them!
